Beginner’s Yoga introduces Yoga with a 15-20-minute discussion about Yoga Philosophy and how it relates to the world we live in. Then 40-45- minutes of fundamental principles of alignment and breath work in a flow of postures. Students will be introduced to yoga postures through step-by-step verbal description and demonstration.

A Moving Meditation connecting movement of the Breath with the Flow of the Body through a continuous sequence of poses, Building Strength, Balance and Stamina.
Students will build Strength, Flexibility, and Concentration while Energizing the Body and the Mind.
Sequences Flow through poses to Build Stamina, Strengthening the Core with Balancing Poses, Energizing the Mind with Imagery and Meditation.
Practicing Breathing Techniques with a Body in Motion with attention to Body Mechanics. Slowing and Speeding the breath to a 4-count beat and Connecting Movement of the Breath with the Flow of the Body through a Sequence of Poses, Building Body Awareness, and Strength with Attention to the Breath.
